Well the first transfer is over and I already have a new companion. haha. Umm I guess there are trying to find someone that fits my high maintenance. We will know forsure if after this next transfer I get another new companion haha. So Elder Slinker is now gone and a zone leader. And I got elder Ames. He is the man and we get along really well. Both laid back and like to work hard at the same time. He has really really really good German and so I feel like a new born when I hear him talk to other people haha.
This week was long because doing transfers it always takes a little time to get into the swing of things especially when you are new to a big city here in germany. And then also adding in that all of our 4 appointments that we had fell out. haha. We found 2 new investigators this week that we are planning on meeting with this next week. And then also just yesterday we called everyone on the phone and found 3 more people we are meeting with this week. So we have a good solid week with the investigators that we already have.
A really  cool story and lesson that I learned this week was strength when you think you cant go any further. I really have been missing home my family, my friends, my sports, my girlfriend, my iphone, and other fun and exciting things that bring joy to my life. Me and Elder Ames were doing contacts in areas in Dresden. We had probably walked nearly 8 to 10 miles total when we thought we were to our last contact. So we start walking to the last person on the list and as we walk there we found a shortcut to go under a bridge and to then go down the street. So we did it and took pictures by the bridge because it had some graffiti because it was pretty cool. We continue walking and going down the street that the person lives on. At this point its super hot, we had walked so far already to different people, and this road that the last contact is on is forever long probably another 1 to 2 miles. So I am just praying that it is close because I really wanted to go home and eat and start daily planning for the next day. And just having HOME in my mind the entire walk haha. AND also none of those other contacts listened to us so at this point it feels pointless.  I am thinking to myself, watch this lady not even live at this dang place. So we walk and are getting to the end of the street and see this guy walking his dog so we stop him. Come to find out that he wants to learn about what we have to teach and he turned into a new investigator. If you want to know, I was right that lady didnt even live there. And yes it was at the very end of the street. So moral of the story, I learned that no matter how hard life gets or how bad you want to do something else you are always being directed to either build you or make you stronger when you are doing whats right. I know its not a coincedence that we just ran into this guy for no reason. We are tools in the hands of God when we do what we are supposed to do. And when we listen to the spirit and trust in God, there is always something good to come. I hope you enjoy the story. I will keep writing little miricales that happen to me each email. Love you all and have a wonderful week!!

This Week Was GREAT!!!

So to start with news I just finished my first transfer out here in Germany. It was a very short 6 weeks. Its weird how time works out on the mission. I would have never thought you could complete as much as we have in six weeks haha. But thats a normal transfer out here in the mission. We have found 4 total investigators in those six weeks and probably talked to around 1,000 haha. That number is totally made up but its been really good and I have learned more german in the last 6 weeks than in 2 years taking school haha. Dont get me wrong though I might have learned alot if I tried as hard as I am out here! I really have been getting a little better but Its not very much and is still really really hard. But I am working on it. I am also in a part of germany where they slur their german really bad so its almost like being in Alabama for english haha.

Last week we went on a really really fun hike and it was great! We havent been doing to much for Pday. When you talk about Pday here in germany usually all we do here in the big city is shop hahaha. I know its weird but when you have one day a week to do it and go to the mall thats usually what we do. We have seen alot of cool buildings and everything going through the city, so we dont miss much.
Lately it has been really hard finding new people to teach but this week was great!! We found the BIG T W O! haha two people we have found this week and they are actually really cool and cant wait to meet with them this week again. As far as it goes with other investigators, Flourian is really progressing and doing great. He is going with all our commitements and really doing great. Frau Wendler is on vacation but she is still waiting for a yes from her husband and hopefully that can come soon.

Well I found out also that I am getting a new companion already. I cant even keep the same companion to train me the entire way I must be high maintenance! ;) Well really I am, but my companion got called to be zone leader so now I am 1 for 1 on companions with transfers. Well here goes the start of the second!

Haben sie ein schöne Woche!

Bike Crash and Cop Threats!!!!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great week!

I am sorry, I don't have a lot of time because we went to the mountains and went on a hike. I can get the pictures to you sometime this week hopefully! It was awesome!

Tuesday, I face planted going about 25 on the bike. The chain came off the gears. I banged up my hand, elbow, and knee. The pants and shirt are now history!  I didn't work so much the next few days because of my wounds. It was a good crash.

Then, I got told by a few people that when I can speak German better that they will talk to me. hahaha So this week wasn't the greatest with work but that's okay. I know weeks are going to go like that.

We found out its a possibility that during my mission I might get a tablet or ipad so it would be a face book mission because it has a 700 more percent success rate. I really am hoping that it works out! . Oh yeah and last thing I got a few cop threats hahaha. So that was great! But they cant do anything because we are licensed to be here so its funny because they have no idea that we are, so they threatened to call the cops on us. I guess that makes things interesting.

Our two investigators are doing great! They are still interested. I will keep you posted on there progression.

Sorry for the short e-mail. I wish we had more time. We get rushed to get our e-mail in and sent.

I hope you all have a super week.

Love elder williams :)

Peek a BOO!

I say this title heading because I feel like just yesterday I was writing a weekly email. It sneaks up on you like your playing hide and go seek. haha. Its really weird. But I am grateful for it and the great emails I get to read from all you family and friends! I really enjoy hearing from anyone who wants to email me!
Honest to say this email will be literally the smallest one I will write probably because I have absolutely zero thing to talk about that happened this week. so are you ready??

To start it off I would like to say that absolutely nothing happened haha. Sad enough we had no appointments they all fell through the roof and then through the floor. Like we had nothing go for us this week. Luckly there are 500,000 people in Dresden we have to talk to on the street haha. So all we did this week was go by in active members and non-active members now. I really really dont know what I did wrong. I thought I was obedient enough to have a sick week haha but I guess I need to be even more precise;) Umm all in all though it wasnt to bad we had a few good conversations on the street and we have about 3 or 4 people to contact this next week that we met on the street that we gave the BOM to. So I am excited for that. We are working hard and doing all we can to find new people. Its going great and I cant wait to see what I will be able to write next week! haha. I know the Lord has a plan and I am just doing all that I can do by working hard and knowing that everything will work out in the end when I do this!

Love you all and have a WONDERFUL week:)
